A New Year

As I type this, I'm thinking of the dreams and wishes I have for the new year.  This is the first time in 27 years that I am not employed outside the home.  I can focus on my family and my home now. The first thing I've done is give myself a promotion. After 34 years of being a working mom and homemaker, I am now a grandmother and home manager. This job requires a lot of negotiating and planning to do everything I want and need to do.  I often wonder how I did it all and worked outside the home as a preschool teacher.
My goals for 2008 are:       to create a calm, clutter free home
to travel to Washington state ( a long time dream)
to volunteer at my grandchildren's school
                                                to have more "me" time
                                                to embrace a healthier lifestyle
to live a "greener" life (recycle, reuse etc.)
to create a lifetime of memories with my family
and friends (the most important goal of all)

Feel free to edit your blog when you make mistakes. When you go back and edit your post it keeps the original date. I have to do it all the time.

If you are logged in it should say "Customize" near the top of your blog, click that. Then you should see a tab that says "Posting" click it and below it should be a tab that says "Edit Posts" When you click that it should bring up a list of your posts with an edit link next to each one.
I think you already figured this out though.
